Four things we put in writing

Solar is a 25-year purchase from a vendor you meet for three weeks. These are the commitments that survive the installation.

Generation guarantee

If your system produces less than the units we promised in the proposal, we pay you ₹8 for every unit short. Measured on the meter, settled every year.

Zero repair cost for 5 years

Inverter failure, cable damage, a cracked module after a hailstorm — parts and labour are ours. No annual maintenance contract to sign, no per-visit charge.

Subsidy filed by us, or it is free

National portal registration, DISCOM application, net-meter inspection and the subsidy claim are handled by our team. If your sanctioned subsidy does not land in 90 days of commissioning, we waive our installation fee.

You watch it on your phone

Live generation, units exported to the grid, and this month's saving — on an app, not a quarterly email. If output drops, our service team is alerted before you notice.

What we actually do

Full EPC — engineering, procurement and construction. One team from the feasibility survey to the day your net meter is sealed.

Rooftop solar — on-grid, off-grid, hybrid

On-grid for the subsidy and net metering. Off-grid where the supply is unreliable. Hybrid with battery backup where you need both. We size it to your load, not to a package.

Net metering, start to finish

UPNEDA and national portal registration, DISCOM feasibility application, inspection, meter installation and the subsidy claim. You sign; we file.

Operation & maintenance

Annual maintenance contracts, scheduled cleaning and servicing, and fault attendance. A solar plant that nobody maintains quietly loses a fifth of its output.

Consultation & energy audit

For businesses and industries: we measure your actual load profile before proposing a system, so you are not paying for capacity you will never use.

Societies: the bill nobody argues about

Your flats are metered individually, but the common area is one bill split across everyone — and it only goes up. That is the easiest solar decision an RWA will ever make.

01

Submersible pump

Water supply, running daily

02

Common lights

Every floor, every night

03

Lift

The single biggest common load

04

CCTV & security

24×7, never switched off

Put a system on the terrace, run the common area off it, and the society’s shared bill drops by 70–100% depending on how it is sized. One investment, benefit split across every flat, for twenty-five years. We handle the society resolution paperwork and the DISCOM application together.

Twenty-one days, four visits

You are involved on day one and day twenty-one. Everything between those is our paperwork.

STEP 01

Free roof survey

An engineer measures shadow-free area, checks your sanctioned load and photographs the meter board. You get a fixed-price proposal the same evening.

Day 1
STEP 02

Paperwork and approval

We register you on the national portal, file the DISCOM feasibility application and arrange your loan sanction if you want EMI.

Day 2–10
STEP 03

Installation

Mounting structure, modules, inverter and earthing go up in two working days. Our crew cleans the site before leaving.

Day 11–14
STEP 04

Net meter and subsidy

DISCOM inspection, net-meter installation, commissioning certificate — then the subsidy claim goes in and lands in your bank account.

Day 15–21

We are new. Here is why that is safe.

Ssarth GreenTech is a young company, and you should not have to take that on faith. So the risk sits with us, in writing, before you pay anything.

Nothing upfront before the proposal

The site survey is free and carries no obligation. You receive a written proposal with system size, fixed price, expected annual generation and your exact subsidy amount — and only then decide.

You pay in stages, against work done

Payment is milestone-based — on material delivery to your address, on installation, and on commissioning. You are never paying for work that has not happened yet.

Your warranty is the manufacturer’s, not ours

Modules and inverters carry warranties from the manufacturer and are honoured whatever happens to us. We hand you the serial numbers and warranty documents at commissioning — they are yours to claim on directly.

One named person, one number

You deal with the same person from survey to subsidy credit, on the number at the top of this page. No call centre, no ticket queue, no handover to someone who does not know your roof.

The questions everyone asks

The five that come up on every visit. All questions →

How much subsidy will I actually get?
Under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana: ₹30,000 for a 1 kW system, ₹60,000 for 2 kW, and ₹78,000 for anything 3 kW and above. It is a fixed cap, not a percentage — a 10 kW system still receives ₹78,000. Some states add their own top-up on this. The money is transferred to your bank account after your system is commissioned and inspected, typically within 30–45 days.
Do I need to pay everything upfront?
No. Partner banks finance rooftop solar as a collateral-free loan for systems up to 10 kW, and it qualifies as priority-sector lending, so rates are lower than a personal loan. On a typical 3 kW system the EMI lands close to what you were paying the electricity board — so your outflow barely changes, and once the loan closes the savings are entirely yours.
What happens during monsoon and at night?
You stay connected to the grid. On cloudy days and after sunset you draw from the grid exactly as before; on sunny days your surplus is exported and your meter runs backwards. Your bill is settled on net units at the end of the cycle. This is why a grid-connected system needs no batteries — the grid is the battery, and that is what makes the economics work.
How much roof do I need?
Roughly 90–100 sq ft of shadow-free roof per kW. A 3 kW system needs about 300 sq ft — a standard Delhi or Pune rooftop handles it comfortably. Water tanks, parapet shadows and neighbouring buildings matter more than total area, which is what the free survey checks.
What maintenance does it need?
Wash the panels with plain water every two to three weeks in dusty months — dust can cost you 10–15% of generation. There are no moving parts. Modules carry a 25-year performance warranty and the inverter typically 5–10 years; our service visits are scheduled twice a year at no charge for the first five years.
Will it work if I am a tenant, or in an apartment?
You need rights over the roof. Tenants need a no-objection certificate from the owner. Apartments are done as a housing-society installation on common terrace area, billed to the society meter and shared across flats — a separate process we handle, and worth doing for common-area load like lifts, pumps and corridor lighting.
